The Midvaal mayor is pleased with the performance of the matriculants of 2021. “Your dedication, commitment and hard work has finally reaped benefits. This is a momentous achievement and a first step in unlocking your future and reaching great heights,” said the Executive Mayor, Peter Teixeira in a statement, following the release of the results last week.

Teixeira urged the learners who did not perform well not to give up or be dismayed. “It’s not the end yet, chin up and try again. Whatever you do, don’t ever give up or quit. You can do it,” said Teixeira.

He also congratulated all who successfully passed, “To all those who made it, this is now the start of a new chapter in your life. Hard work has never failed anyone. All the best with your future endeavours,” said Teixeira.
