A total of 22 443 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. The NICD mentioned that 374 COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded, bringing the death toll to 63 873 to date. A total of 76 163 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
Gauteng recorded 11 680 new cases and it still remains the province with most infections and deaths.
