Police spokesperson Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela stated, “Two unknown males with firearms ordered the security guard to get inside the store. They proceeded to walk the man towards the shelves.”
Maxambela said that the two men who were wearing caps and blue masks took cigarettes and hard cash before fleeing the scene. “We can confirm that no injuries were reported during the incident.
