Midvaal Local Municipality has once scooped another PMR Africa Award for its continued excellence.
This event was held this morning at Ingwe Lodge in Vanderbijlpark. This honour is awarded to municipalities that actively play a role in social upliftment, employment, preventing crime and attracting investment.
Spokesperson Simon Ratlhagane said, “The awards are the culmination of research processes whereby companies and institutions are rated based on respondents perceptions with a strong focus on evaluating and measuring customer service and customer satisfaction.”
Those that were in attendance were the Mayors and Councillors from municipalities around the Gauteng Province.
Mayor Peter Teixeira expressed his gratitude saying, “Thank you to PMR Africa for honouring the Midvaal Local Municipality with a Golden and Diamond Arrow award for excellence in Local Government initiatives.
“To all our hardworking Municipality employees, this one is for you.We are committed to service delivery, that is our mandate to the people of Midvaal.”
The Mayor of the Local Municipality said it will continue to increase stability in governance and ensure that the interests of the Midvaal community are prioritised.
