The police in Boipatong recently assisted a 24-year-old woman to deliver her baby boy.
According to Police spokesperson Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela, the woman accompanied by her partner, came rushing to the client services center at approximately 3 o’clock in the early hours of the morning and asked for an ambulance to be called for them.
The pregnant woman suddenly had labour pains and to a point that the hospital was too far for her to give birth. Sergeant Pekeur and Constable Smith assisted the woman and a baby boy was born. Both the mother and baby were taken to Sebokeng Hospital for further care.
