Seven people were injured when their taxi crashed into a tree on Playfair Boulevard in Vanderbijlpark. ER24 and other services arrived around 12p.m. to find a taxi on the centre against a tree.

Some people were found confused, walking around on the scene. The medical personnel assessed the patients and found that seven individuals moderate injuries. On a good note, no serious fatalities or injuries occurred. The patients were treated and then transported to surrounding hospitals for further care.

Local authorities remained on the scene to conduct further investigations.
