South Africa recorded over 20,000 confirmed Covid-19 cases, for the second consecutive day. In the last twenty four hours, South Africa recorded 20,999 new Covid-19 infections, taking the total number of cases to 1,170,590.
The total number of new deaths that have been reported are 441, taking the national death toll to 31,809.
As much as this wave is devastating the nation, let us continue to be steadfast in adhering to the health protocols regarding this virus as prevention is better than cure.
